Mintt | Our Story

Pittsburgh's table since 2011
Since opening on Banksville Road in 2011, we've welcomed every guest like god — Athithi Devo Bhava — with authentic flavors from across the Indian subcontinent.
The philosophy behind everything
Athithi Devo Bhava — the guest is god — is more than a saying; it's why our Andhra-owned kitchen gives every guest, first-timer or twenty-year regular, the same genuine care.

A menu that covers the subcontinent
Our chefs span the whole subcontinent, from North Indian butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and lamb korma to South Indian chicken 65 and chicken chettinad, plus fresh butter naan and garlic naan straight from the tandoor. Vegetarians love our palak paneer, vegetable korma, and butter tofu, and no meal is complete without samosas to start and gulab jamun and a mango lassi to finish.

Meet our executive chef
Leading our kitchen is Executive Chef Viswanathan, whose craft carries the flavors of the subcontinent onto every plate. From rich butter chicken and chicken korma to spinach chicken and our signature butter tofu, he brings the same care and philosophy that has defined our table since 2011.
Celebrations, catering, and custom cakes
Our chefs set up on-site at weddings, corporate events, and birthday parties — including a live dosa station. Our bakery crafts custom celebration cakes using traditional methods with a hint of Indian ingredients.

Our home on Banksville Road
Our BYOB-friendly home at 3033 Banksville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15216 has served the South Hills since 2011. Come for the weekend grand lunch buffet and stay for the same philosophy and warmth we've always poured into every plate.

The regulars who made us
Families who've celebrated every milestone, newcomers who quickly find their go-to order, regulars who know exactly how many chilies they want — we invite you to find your table.
